Working in conjunction with local charities, and a dedicated volunteer vet team, the Together Project offers free veterinary care to vulnerably-house people for their animals. We offer preventative care such as yearly vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and neutering as well as some emergencies and on-going care for illnesses.
The Together Project is delivered by voluntary vets and vet nurses from Bath Vets. As well as running the clinics they take their backpack and hit the streets, proactively seeking out rough sleepers who haven’t been able to visit the clinic. They are entirely non-judgemental, simply offering support to the homeless pet owners of Bath.
“The Together Project gives unconditional support and love and all the good stuff that goes with it.
It’s like a family”
Together Project service user
In 2023, the Together Project ran 19 clinics seeing 52 pets, plus 6 emergencies.

Funding the project
Each year we need to raise over £10,000 to provide the essential medicines and veterinary supplies for the Together Project.
We work to improve the welfare of animals in our community and prevent serious animal welfare problems from developing. Where pets have loving owners, we want to help them stay together. Ultimately, we want to help vulnerable pet owners build the skills and confidence to care for their pets more independently.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you may be interested in supporting the Together Project, please contact our Education and Outreach team.
